COVID-19 Revised

November 14, 2020 Member Update

Good morning all Soccer Families;

We want to ensure that we are communicating any changes to the soccer program to all families.  This will not affect the way we participate in soccer on the field but will change how we enter the facilities.  Effective Monday, November 16, 2020, masking indoors is mandatory.

When entering the facilities, please ensure that everyone has a mask on until they are in the change room.  Once on the field, masks are not required as we are in our cohort.

Spectators are to wear the mask the entire time they are in the facility.  This does not change the number of spectators in the stands; we are still only allowed 15 people in the upper stands per side for a total of 30.

The City of Lloydminster has asked we share the facility information as follows:

The Government of Saskatchewan announced province-wide mandatory masking, effective Monday, November 16, 2020.

Patrons of City-operated recreational, and sporting facilities can expect the following:

  • All visitors must wear a mask, except while participating in physical activities (for example, hockey, swimming, curling, pickleball, badminton, or actively working in the fitness Centres).  This includes (but not limited too) wearing a mask in all corridors, lobbies, pool deck etc.
  • Spectators are always required to wear a mask.
  • Per the Guidelines coaches/staff, officials and volunteers must wear a non-medical mask when two metres of physical distancing can be maintained.  If they are unable to maintain physical distancing, a surgical/procedure mask must be worn.

Together, we must take the pandemic seriously to help be successful: maintain physical distancing, wear a mask when you are outside the home, wash your hands frequently, stay home if you are sick. All of these measures are in place to slow down the spread.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
